The Origin

Moon Cast Shadow is rooted in the belief that while we must be the architects of our own lives, we do not build in isolation.

My own path to this work was forged through a rigorous reclamation of self. Six years ago, I began the journey of choosing clarity over the chaos of addiction. It was a transformation that required more than just personal will, it took the strength of a supportive community and the steadying hand of spiritual guidance to make this dream a reality. Without that collective support and my own recovery, Moon Cast LLC would not exist today.

My Nordic ancestry provides the bedrock for this perspective,  a lineage of survivors who understood that we are part of a much larger celestial and communal fabric. This connection was a bridge I shared deeply with my sister, whose passing in March 2025 serves as the quiet heartbeat of this mission.

The tools I offer here - the Copper vessels, the stones, the hand-rolled beeswax candle, and the botanicals - are not solutions in themselves. They are simply physical anchors designed to facilitate your own rituals and intentions. I offer these instruments as a way to honor the phases of the moon and the phases of your own life, acknowledging that while the work is yours, you are supported by the traditions and communities that came before you.

From Chaos to Clarity

While Moon Cast Shadow is built on the scientific precision of the lunar cycles, its heartbeat belongs to a date of profound personal significance: April 18th.

This storefront will open its doors on what would have been my late sister’s 29th birthday. Her passing on March 22, 2025, remains the most significant shift in my own internal landscape. She was my most vital connection to our shared Nordic heritage and a constant witness to the reclamation of my own life and sobriety.

Launching on April 18th is not merely a tribute, it is a way to transmute grief into a structured offering of empowerment for others. It is an acknowledgement that while cycles end, they also begin anew. By choosing this date, I ensure that every kit sent out and every ritual shared carries forward the light she brought into the world, a reminder that even in the dark phases of our lives, we are preparing for the return of the light.

This space is dedicated to all the living and supportive members of my tribe, but most especially three amazing women who have shaped my life and continue to guide my heart.

To my late sister (The Heartbeat): The heart of everything: You are my guiding light. Your spirit lives within me, your memory grounds me, and your love transcends all boundaries. Every intention I hold, every step I take, carries your presence. You are woven into the very fabric of who I am, and you always will be. This is for you.

We move away from the purely mystified, instead utilizing the moon’s phases (such as the First Quarter’s focus on energy investment and the Third Quarter’s period of re-evaluation) as a structured calendar for internal discipline. The tools I provide, from hand-rolled beeswax candles to organic botanicals sourced from Mountain Rose, serve as physical anchors for this work. Whether you are engaging with a Mind Kit focused on psychological clarity or a Spirit Kit centered on internal resonance, these instruments are designed to facilitate your own unique ritual of self-actualization.

To further lower the barriers to entry for this work, I personally gift a basic Ritual Kit during every scheduled live session, fully funded to ensure our community remains supported.
